Beautiful bench
This is an attractive, beautifully-constructed, solid and low-maintenance bench - which caught our eye because of its sustainably-resourced teak - and we were over the moon when it was delivered smilingly the very next day! The only sad thing is, it's 10cm too deep for us to sit on it comfortably as we could on our previous bench. We are averagely-sized at 5'6" and 5'10", and feel that it is not ergonomically-designed for the likes of us! If the maker had used one less plank for the seat it would be perfect and would use less material - what a pity. We are hoping we can find a carpenter to alter it.

The 2nd bench I have bought
I have bought a table and chairs and now 2 of the Aldeburgh benchs. The furniture is solid and well made and I love the way it weathers. We do not oil ours we let it fade to a lovely white almost grey over time. Very pleased.

This bench went down extremely well with my nan. I wanted to get her something special for her 70th and as she loves her garden so much, thought she would really appreciate having a bench to put in it. I came across this site and ordered the Aldeburgh Teak Bench and a seat cushion too. I had it ordered to my address and the delivery was speedy. My nan loved it and it's now ' her' bench now. Bless her. Its high quality and well constructed. It can take a lot of weight too, including me! Well impressed!
